"ACCESS" The Abdominal Catheter Control Elastic Support System. ACCESS is made in both a Cotton and Nylon Blend fabric. The cotton blend is made for every day wear, while the Nylon blend is prodominatly used for showering, it has quick drying and low absorbance propities like those of a bathing suit so that it will prevent tugging at the exit site.

 

ACCESS was designed by and for a CAPD patient in 1997, so it is proper CAPD catheter stabilization designed by a CAPD patient for CAPD patients and has been used by thousands of CAPD patients over the years.

 

The purpose for ACCESS is to comfortably and safely, secure, support and conceal CAPD Catheters thus eliminating the use of tape or other bulking ridged belts. This is accomplished by sliding the CAPD transfer set and a portion of the catheter's tubing inside ACCESS's pocket and securing them around the CAPD patient's waist or hips. ACCESS is secured by a 2" Velcro Hook and 4" Velcro loop which allows for adjustability to maximize patients comfort and to provide proper catheter stabilization for the CAPD patient's future foreseeable needs.
